Terrorists stole lives of innocents
How can there ever be proper recompense?
Would be their last in any way
No chance to express their feelings
Life snatched from them unwilling
With total disregard for lives of people
While America will always mourn its loss
Others believe a cause is worth any cost
For the heavy burdens we all have to bear
God bless those lives changed today
For peacefulness we can only pray
