The mission of the Ibsen Ballet Theatre is to provide serious students of dance the opportunity to work with the like-minded dancers in a dance company environment. IBT will provide the highest quality of dance training and performance enhancing skills. IBT will educate dancers on the standard practices and inner workings of professional dance companies throughout the world while providing a strong and knowledgeable foundation for those aspiring to enter the world of professional dance.
In addition to providing members quality training and information, IBT will facilitate an environment designed to foster commitment and dedication to personal growth, responsibility for self and others, proper company etiquette, and camaraderie.
Pre-requisites
Due to the disciplined nature of Ibsen Ballet Theatre, Company status is open only to students 6th grade and up. Company members are required to continue ballet studies throughout the company's season.
